We, Billy and I, arrived in Tokyo airport after an 11 and a half hour flight from Los Angeles, CA. Tokyo has two airports: Haneda and Narita. Our airplane landed in Narita, however our flight to Misawa left Haneda airport early the next morning.
Billy and I gathered our luggage and tried to figure out how to get to Haneda from Narita, and ended up finding buses and an English speaking Japanese lady at a help desk who sold us our tickets.
The sun set during the bus ride towards Haneda and it was raining so we didn't get to see much except the inside of the bus.
Our hotel (we booked blindly while in CA) was called Excel Haneda Hotel. It turns out the hotel was in the same building as the airport. Despite this fact, we couldn't hear any airport noise from our room. Yes, we had a fancy toilet:
The room was small but well laid out and didn't feel cramped. It was late and our flight left at 7am so we went to bed, planning on meeting Michael (Marika's brother) in Misawa the next day.
